á Leadership Series: Lisa Turner advised that only 10 (5 for the morning and 5 for the afternoon) people were signed up to date for the leadership series. Lisa will work directly with Colin to determine the minimum seating and if they need to cancel the class. Gil advised Colin has offered a free seat to a board member that we have not taken advantage of yet to date. Janice Soder stated she would be interested in the spot.
á Partnering with WorkSource: Gil presented that he also met with Kathy Mertes and Colin Brine regarding partnering with WorkSource. In exchange for using the WorkSource logo we can have access to their database for employer information. Although we would have to have the manpower to do the labeling, it is an excellent resource for AVHRA to expand the population in which we currently advertise to.
á 2008 NHRMA Conference: Gil presented that the three chapters that are responsible for the 2008 NHRMA conference in the Tri-Cities had a conference call on Monday. AVHRA is responsible for the program chair and 2 spots on the committee we will also need to have 1-2 members participate on each of the committees. Gill handed out a packet of conference planning information. Gil asked that each board member review the qualifications on pages 10-11 and determine the level of commitment and which areas they would like to participate in. The plan will be to have quarterly conference calls between now and January 2007.
