What is AVHRA?
The Apple Valley Human Resources Association (AVHRA), formed in June of 1997, is a professional organization whose members have responsibilities in the area of human resources. The group's members represent a variety of organizations and industries throughout Chelan and Douglas Counties.
What does AVHRA do?
AVHRA supports its members by providing leadership, resources, training/education, and networking opportunities through local chapter activities and affiliations with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Northwest Human Resource Management Association (NHRMA).
SHRM is the leading voice of the human resource profession, representing the interests of more than 150,000 professional and student members from around the world. SHRM provides its membership with education and information services, conferences and seminars, government and media representation, and publications that equip human resource professionals for their roles as leaders and decision makers within their organizations.
